He makes it peaceful.

Proverbs 16:7 and Isaiah 54:17  teach us that although the children of God have enemies, we will avoid heated conflict with those enemies, based on God's actions on our behalf. Now that is some powerful protection!

The Proverbs passage reserves this protection for those whose "ways please the Lord." Let's keep ourselves under God's protective umbrella by living to please Him. May we be at peace with our enemies.
