Do you hear what I hear?

Have you ever had a friend or family member casually predict something, perhaps suggesting some new invention or behavior of people, and their words eventually came true? I have, and I don't believe their prediction was mere coincidence.

God reveals truth about things to come to us through His Holy Spirit, according to John 16:13 AKJV: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

While the Spirit has already spoken the truth about our final destinations and end times through the apostles' teachings (2 Peter 1:21), He continues to reveal truths about day-to-day life, in subtle and overt ways, to humans today. It's what He was sent to do, after all.

Is the Spirit uncovering some aspect of truth about your life that you need to hear? It only benefits us to prayerfully heed what He is telling us. So, let's tune in and keep in step with the Spirit.
